Join teaching artist Grace Cuny for a Pop-Up movement class before she returns back to Ireland! The class is a blend of dance, theatre, and improv exercises aimed at getting the mover out of their head - a series of sometimes silly, always highly descriptive prompts to throw the body into overwhelm and toward a state of abandon. The goal of these experiments is to see how a sense of aliveness and play can remain even when we return to 'known' movement. Participants can expect a fun and physical hour and a half and hopefully walk away with tactics to let their imagination take the driver's seat from their inner critic.
